According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), 1.5 billion people have been traveling in 2019. That is a massive number of travelers, but yet, the entire human population is 7.5 billion (seven and a half billion).
So what about to the rest of humankind? Do they not feel the need to travel? Do they not dream of traveling? Or are they left out of this experience, for various reasons like, the high cost of traveling, lack of mobility and political matters.
We were looking for an answer for democratizing tourism on a global scale and making travel accessible immediately, to everyone. So this was our main drive, and in our quest for an answer, WeView came to our minds. Because WeView gives access to the feeling of being present at the place you visit virtually and allows the real time transfer of the experience of being there.
Our mission at WeView is to build as large a community as possible: to unite travel enthusiasts around the world through personal connections, to promote cultural exchange, and to provide financial support to regions that currently lack tourist infrastructure, or are hard to access.
By sharing resources such as travel guide services, inspired by circular economy, and through paring up people that would have never met otherwise, we see WeView as a platform that promotes peace and understanding in the world.
